Dedication, motivation, focus and perseverance are all key factors that must be in place to ensure success in the Multi-Level Marketing industry. However, I believe there is one component that may stand above the rest in terms of long-term success: a true passion for the product or service.

In order to achieve and maintain great success, an individual must first know that they are part of a company that is here to stay. The only way to ensure stability is through the knowledge that the reputable company is offering a valuable product or service. Many people may get very excited about a company’s business opportunity or the compensation plan but the product must be the driving force to set your company in another class from the other “money-making” opportunities that pervade society.

I am so passionate about the service that my company offers. The benefit of the service far outweighs the cost to the individual and when you see true value in a service and how it can help others, it makes you believe in the process that much more. When an individual feels so strongly about a product, it becomes more about sharing and less about selling. A strong belief in your product will be conveyed to the people you speak with. This will further open the channels of communication because people will want to see what made you so passionate about your product.

Remember, if the value of your service or product far outweighs the amount of money that someone is spending to acquire it, you have valid reason to be proud!

Now, for those of you who legitimately want to become a successful marketer, you can most definitely do it! However, you must be willing to make the effort to change your financial situation. This requires dedication and focus. You can’t just expect someone to do the work for you – this is your business. You are a business owner, just fortunately for you, with a networking marketing company, you don’t have to deal with tax liabilities, payroll, inventory and the other facets that owning your own business usually entails! I’m not going to sugarcoat the experience- you will be met with skepticism about any marketing company you choose to work with- anyone and everyone will try to do “outside research” on your company and they will find good things and bad things (as with any company because everyone is a self-proclaimed critic on the internet) – but keep in mind, the opinions of others may be saturated with other factors you may not be aware of. For instance, your friend’s cousin’s sister may have tried your company and called it a “scam” because she paid her sign up fee and sat back waiting….and waiting…and waiting and never got that big check her first month! People actually write negative reviews on companies because they never saw the success that matched stories they have heard…but what they may not tell you is that they really didn’t try all that hard either. They expected “something for nothing” and I can promise you, anything out there that declares you will get something for nothing really is a scam.

Yes, please use caution because there ARE scams out there, – but advise others to do their research on accredited websites that can be considered credible resources.

These are just some points to contemplate– definitely do NOT let this discourage you…I can tell you- for every two or three individuals out there who allow their skepticism to influence their decision, there are others out there who are just as eager as you are to get started!
